Unity RCMP looking for golf club thieves

Unity RCMP are asking for the public’s help in solving a theft.

Overnight on Monday, June 29, the RCMP say thieves broke into two sheds at the Unity and District Regional Park golf course, and stole several sets of high-end golf clubs.

The RCMP says that several complete sets of Taylor Made clubs were stolen, along with clubs by  Callaway, Ping, and Nike as well as some others. A total value of the stolen equipment has yet to be determined, but police say one set of clubs cost $4,000.

Anyone who sees new, high-end golf clubs being sold at lower than fair market value, is asked to contact Unity RCMP at (306) 228-6300, or Crime Stoppers, at 1-800-222-TIPS.
