Cold Lake RCMP are investigatingĀ a shooting.
On Sunday, the police were called to a local motel for a shooting complaint. A 29-year-old man from Island Lake First Nation was wounded during a fight, and was taken to the hospital, where he is in stable condition.
The RCMP say they are still investigating, and ask for anyone who has information about the incident to contact the Cold Lake detachment at (780) 594-3302 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-TIPS.
The two people involved are known to each other and no danger to the public exists.
