RCMP have arrested two individuals following a lucrative search warrant on a residence in Hanna.
On August 26, 2016 at approximately 8:00 p.m., Hanna RCMP, with the assistance of Police Dog Services, searched a residence which yielded cocaine, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, Canadian Currency, and other property related to these offences.
Members arrested and charged 33-year-old Jean Bogdan Niculescu and 32-year-old Lora Lea Hewko of Hanna with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marihuana, and possession of proceeds of crime.
Both Niculescu and Hewko appeared before a Justice of the Peace and were released to attend Provincial Court in Hanna on September 28, 2016.
