Uncategorized Saskatchewan makes changes to Residential Tenancies Act SHARE ON: Chris Roach, contributor, Tuesday, Apr. 11th, 2017 The province of Saskatchewan has amended the Victims of Interpersonal Violence Act and The Residential Tenancies Act. Tenants will now be allowed to end a fixed-term rental agreement with 28 days notice if they are being abused by a resident or former resident. They say the amendment will help to support and protect those who are the victim in interpersonal violence in their families. The province of Alberta introduced similar legislation last year.
