Lloydminster Man Arrested After Multiple Warrants Issued

Mark Morison has been arrested after two warrants were put out for his arrest. The first warrant was issued on June 13, the second one June 18.
The investigation has been going on for multiple weeks and on June 17 the RCMP received a tip that a male, who had warrants out for his arrest, was seen in the 2700 block of 48 Avenue. When the RCMP arrived, they saw him standing next to a vehicle and he proceeded to flee on foot.  The vehicle he was standing next to has been determined to be stolen from the Maidstone area.
On June 23, police executed a search warrant in the 4500 block of 45 Avenue. The search warrant found:
  • power tools
  • bikes
  • electronics
  • generators
  • telescope
On Sunday, RCMP were able to locate Morison in the 3000 block of 56 Avenue. He was arrested without incident.
Mark Morison has been charged with:
  • Possession of Stolen Property
  • Obstruction
  • Possession of break-in instruments
  • Failing to comply.

Morison appeared before a Justice of the peace and appeared in Saskatchewan Provincial Court on Monday.
