After playing every week for the last couple of years, Germaine Brand and Irene Oddan of Lloydminster, Bernadette Wright of Estevan, and Alyassa Hatter of Surrey, BC have finally won.
The sisters are each taking home $25, 000 of the winnings from the Lotto Max Extra draw. The ticket was purchased here in the Border City.
“We didn’t know we won until I went to check the ticket a few days after the draw,” said Brand. “We were all surprised and really happy. People really do win the lottery!”
The sisters say they will be saving the money for now.
