A weekend house fire has not been deemed suspicious at this time.
On Saturday evening, the Lloydminster Fire Department received reports of a structure fire on the 5800 block of 23 Street.
“Fire crews responded quickly and the fire was contained to a rear deck of a property,” says Fire Chief Jordan Newton.
There was a family home at the time but everyone was able to get out safely and there were no injuries.
“The fire is still currently under investigation but at this time is not deemed suspicious,” says Newton.
