Lloydminster residents living on the Saskatchewan side who had uninsurable damages from the June 9 rainfall are now eligible for disaster relief.
Applications are available on the City’s website or at City Hall. They must be submitted directly to the Saskatchewan Provincial Disaster Assistance Program. The program is not intended for losses that residents chose not to insure.
The City is still waiting to hear if Alberta residents will qualify for the Alberta Disaster Recovery Program. People who submitted a Disaster Tracking Form to the City will be told once the Province has reached a decision.
