Saskatchewan Government Looking for Next Saskatchewanderer

The Saskatchewanderer program is looking for their next wanderer.

The Saskwatchewanderer is tasked with showcasing the best of living, working and playing in Saskatchewan through their own perspective on social media.

“I’ve lost count of how many incredible people I’ve met and the sights around this province have continued to blow me away. I cannot express how grateful I am for the opportunity to have been a part of this program and wish I could rewind the clock to do it all over again.  Great year.  Great people.  Great job,” says Andrew Hiltz, the 2017 Saskatchewanderer.

The program partners with Tourism Saskatchewan and the Ministries of Agriculture, Economy and Parks, Culture and Sport.

“Tourism Saskatchewan is grateful to Andrew Hiltz for his hard work and dedication that have made the 2017 Saskatchewanderer program a resounding success. Andrew capitalized on social media to share Saskatchewan stories through words, photographs and video and spread the news that our province is a great place to live, work and visit,” said the Minister Responsible for Tourism Saskatchewan Steven Bonk.

Each applicant is required to shoot, edit and submit their own original video explaining why they should become the next Saskatchewanderer. Applications will be accepted until noon on Friday, November 10. The program has been in operation since 2011.
