UPDATE: Two People Charged Following Investigation In Which Shots Were Fired

Two people are now facing several charges following an investigation in late September where there was an officer-involved shooting.

RCMP say they attempted to stop a vehicle when the vehicle fled and was then involved in a collision with another vehicle. Police say two suspects then fled from police; one suspect was caught after a short foot pursuit. RCMP say they  “engaged the second suspect and he sustained serious injuries.” The second suspect was taken to hospital under police guard.

Cameron Hugh Green from Calgary is facing 10 charges including robbery with a firearm, assaulting a police officer and assault with a weapon. A court date for the 29 year old has not yet been set.

Steven Daniel Vu from Sherwood Park is facing three charges including possession of a controlled substance. The 30 year old will appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on October 16.

Police say no further information is available but if new information should, “warrant disclosure to the public,” it will be made available.
