The County of Vermilion River Municipal election is set to take place on Monday.
There are 17 people looking to sit on the council, with division three already acclaimed by incumbent Stacey Hryciuk. Voting locations are varied throughout the county and are open from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.

Voters must be at least 18 years old, a Canadian citizen and a resident of Alberta for a minimum of 6 months prior to the election and must live in division on election day. To vote, you need one piece of government issued photo I.D. which contains your address or another document clearly stating your name and address. Passports are not accepted.
