A man from Fishing Lake is facing several charges following reports of shots being fired on Monday in Fishing Lake.
The 22 year old has been charged with careless use of a firearm, obstruction of a peace officer, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle and two counts of possession of a weapon contrary to an order.
He was also charged with four separate criminal code offences in relation to an incident that occurred on October 6 where it was alleged that a male was in possession of a firearm at a store in Fishing Lake.
He was remanded into custody after a judicial hearing and is set to appear in Bonnyville Provincial Court via CCTV on October 24.
