Update: Maria Bluebird has been found safe. The Battlefords RCMP thanks the public for their help.
The Battlefords RCMP is asking for the public’s help in finding Maria Bluebird. She was last seen in North Battleford on Friday afternoon.
Bluebird is described as a 15 year old Aboriginal girl, around 5’6″ and 100 pounds. She has long brown hair, brown eyes and has braces. Bluebird was last seen wearing grey leggings, a black hoody, black and gold high top running shoes and was carrying a black backpack with some green colouring on it.
Police say she may also be using the first name Heather and/or the surname of McNiven and she may have gone to Saskatoon. The police are concerned about her wellbeing.
