Lloydminster Bobcats Acquire Scantlebury from Melville Millionaries

The Lloydminster Bobcats have traded forward Braeden Nesbitt and future considerations for forward Tucker Scantlebury from the Melville Millionaries.

Nesbitt joined the Bobcats in mid-September from Okotoks, completing a trade from October of last season.

“First and foremost, I want to thank Braeden for his contributions to our team this season. Since he joined us in September, Nesbitt has been a high character, team-oriented player. Unfortunately, like in any trade, you have to give up someone good to get someone good,” said Coach Travis Clayton.

The coach adds, “we’re excited to have Tucker join us and put on that Bobcat’s sweater. He’s a skilled kid that isn’t afraid to get to the dirty areas. He’s proven in Melville that he’s willing to pay the price to find the back of the net.”

Scantlebury had spent the beginning of this season and last season with the Millionaires. He stands at 6’0”, 170lbs with a left-handed shot. Scantlebury posted 14 goals and 15 assists in 52 games last season.
