The Maidstone RCMP is still looking for a man who reportedly stole a truck with a gun inside.
Early Wednesday morning, the Maidstone RCMP say they were able to stop that truck using a spike belt at Highway 16 and Highway 21 north of Maidstone and a woman from Battlefords was arrested.
However, the man who was in the vehicle fled the scene and reportedly stole another truck, which has since been found outside of North Battleford.
The firearm from the first vehicle, described as a shotgun, has not been recovered. No charges have been laid at this time.
