Lloydminster and Vermilion Men Arrested In B.C.

A Lloydminster man and a Vermilion man are now facing several charges following their arrests in Vernon, B.C.
This stems from a complaint of two trucks, a trailer and a Skid Steer being stolen from the industrial area in Lloydminster. The Lloydminster General Investigation Section work with the Vernon RCMP to locate the vehicles. The police found some of the stolen property along with drugs and two handguns.
Fourty one year old Richard Godin from Lloydminster and 25 year old Robert Howard from Vermilion were charged with two counts of possession of stolen property over $5000, two counts of possession of property under $5000, three counts possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possessing a prohibited firearm and two counts of unsafe storage. Howard was additionally charged with three counts of breach.
Both Godin and Howard appeared before a Justice of the Peace and were remanded into custody. They will appear in British Columbia Provincial Court on November 23.
