The Holy Rosary Raiders and the Lloydminster Barons will be heading to the Alberta Bowl Provincial Finals in Lacombe.
The Holy Rosary Raiders faced off against the St. Albert Skyhawks on Saturday, winning with a score of 35-10. The Raiders were ranked third heading into the regional finals, the Skyhawks were ranked fourth.
The Barons took on the St. Joseph Celtics as well over the weekend, winning with a score of 38 to 14. This is third time in a row the two teams have faced off in the North Tier II Final and the first time the Barons have won. The Barons ranked fourth in their division, while the Celtics were ranked first with no losses during the regular season.
The Raiders will be taking on the Cochrane Cobras at 7 p.m. on Friday. The Barons will play the Foothill Falcons on Saturday at 11 a.m.
