An incident that shut down the 1000 block on 109th Street in North Battleford has ended and resulted in multiple people being arrested.
Just after 5 A.M on Friday morning Battlefords RCMP and an emergency unit consisting of members of the RCMP, Saskatoon Police Service and Meadow Lake Police Dog Services executed a search warrant at a home in the area. Six people were arrested and police seized what they believe to be cocaine along with other evidence of trafficking a controlled substance. Several guns and other weapons were also seized.
Police are still investigating. No charges have been laid at this time.
