Wainwright man facing several theft and fraud charges

On January 12, 2018, two people with several outstanding warrants were arrested, including a 37-year old Wainwright man.

Jeffery Ryan Hall and 29-year old Tawny Leigh Eccles from New Zealand were arrested on a rural property southwest of Leduc. During the arrest Leduc RCMP seized stolen property and items believed to be used for obtaining fraudulent documents.

After the arrest, Hall and Eccles are facing a total of 15 new charges including, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Procuring False Documents, Possessing Instruments for the Purpose of Forgery and Breach of Court Conditions. Hall is now facing a total of 54 criminal charges and Eccles is facing 26 charges.

The charges for both Hall and Eccles are from several jurisdictions including Wainwright and Edmonton. They will be making their first court appearance on Wednesday.
