Britannia Fire department receives first donation for new training program

The Britannia Fire Department is thanking Canadian Natural Resources for a $5000 donation that will assist them in creating a new training program.

The Fire Department says they have less of an ability to train on live fires because of new environmental regulations in Saskatchewan. They are looking to adapt by building a new live fire training facility, at a cost of $25,000. Preliminary designs have been completed and the department is reaching out to the community to make it a reality.

They are hoping to receive enough donations to be up and running in 2018.
