Environment Canada has issued a special weather warning for Lloydminster and area, including Wainwright, Vermilion and Provost.
Heavy snowfalls are expected for this area over the next 24 hours, with the exact amount currently unknown due to disagreements in weather models. However it is likely 10 centimeters of snow is on the way and could hit by Friday morning.
Environment Canada may release more weather warnings as the weather model becomes more certain.
