Man Arrested In Bank Robbery

A 31-year-old man has been arrested after an attempted bank robbery in North Battleford. On Monday, the RCMP were called to a robbery in progress at a bank near the intersection of 11th Avenue and 101st Street, after a man entered the building and demanded cash. He was unarmed, but threatened to attack anyone who didn’t cooperate. The man was given some money, and tried to escape out of the back door, but was arrested by police who had surrounded the building. All of the money has been recovered. He faces several charges, including robbery, hostage-taking, and assault.
