Maidstone RCMP conduct two search warrants related to drugs

Police seize drugs and lay charges after completing two separate search warrants in Saskatchewan.

On March 21, RCMP and the “F” Division Crime Reduction Team did a search warrant at a home in Maidstone that was related to a drug investigation, where two men died suddenly. The investigation is ongoing and police haven’t currently laid any charges.

On March 24, Maidstone RCMP did a second search at a home in Lashburn, where they seized weapons, drugs and cash. 31-year old Frank Brendle from Lashburn has been charged with several counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking and two counts of Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, along with several other charges.

Police are reminding people of the dangers of taking street drugs that may contain unknown substances such as fentanyl. They say that these drugs may still be circulating in Saskatchewan and to call them if anyone sees any suspicious activity.
