Lloydminster City Hall is reminding all business owners to renew their license. The 2014 business lisence expired on December 31st, and renewals for 2015 were due at the end of January. The city says that anyone who has not yet renewed their business license will be charged the renewal fee, and a late payment fee of $75.
Business owners can pay by Tuesday using one of three methods.
1) Over the phone by credit card, at 780-875-6184 ext. 2613
2) By fax at 780-871-8345 (attn: Business License Renewal)
3) Mailing a cheque
4) In person at City Hall.
The city says that if the business no longer operates in the city, the owner should call City Hall to start cancelling the license. If business owners don’t act before the end of the month, the city will revoke their license, and consider the business closed.
