UPDATE: Battlefords RCMP has cleared the scene. Drivers should still be prepared to slow down on Highway 16 between Battlefords and Lloydminster as the overpass is still being cleaned up. Both occupants are expected to recover fully. Police are still determining a cause.Â
Battleford RCMP are on the scene of a Semi truck roll over on the Highway 16 Bypass near the town of Battleford.
The Semi unit was transporting lumber at the time of the incident. Both the driver and passenger have been taken to the Battlefords Union Hospital with non-serious injuries. Police remain on scene and traffic has slowed down in the area, but delays are not expected.
RCMP will provide additional details on the incident.
