RCMP recover over $100,000 in stolen property from across Alberta

Search warrants conducted by various Mounties across Alberta have recovered over $100,00 in stolen property from Two Hills, Vegreville, Wainwright, Vermilion and more.

On April 5, Viking and Killam RCMP conducted a search warrant at a property in Hardisty, as part of an ongoing investigation, where police found numerous stolen property related to thefts in other areas.

On April 11, the Viking, Two Hills and Vegreville RCMP executed a search warrant on a rural property near Bruce, Alberta. Police say they found a “chop shop” operation with stolen property from Edmonton, Calgary, Vermilion and more areas across the province.

Stolen property that were recovered include, two ATV’s, two motorcycles, eight vehicles, one loaded 9mm handgun, thousands of rounds of ammunition, vehicle parts, two chainsaws, marijuana and more.

Police have charged Michael Kelm, Lonny Kelm, Lane Kelm, Chenoa Taron all from Bruce and Blair Delawski from Viking with four counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000.
