SaskPower says power outages possible in Macklin after car crash

The Unity RCMP and SaskPower say power outages may happen in Macklin after a car crashed into a electricity pole.

Early Thursday morning police, Macklin fire and EMS crews responded to call about a truck that had crashed into a empty parked car, sending that car into an electrical pole.

The driver and passenger of the truck were treated on scene for minor injuries. The driver, a 23 year old man, has been charged with dangerous driving offenses.

The scene has been cleared and all barricades removed, but some power outages may still come as SaskPower repairs the damaged pole.
