With the hot and dry weather Spring is bringing to the area, another fire ban has been issued.
As of Friday, there is a partial fire ban in the County of Vermilion River. Only recreational fires and incinerator fires are allowed in the area. All other fires are not allowed, and there is no set time for the ban to be lifted. Any fire permits that were issued before the ban are no longer valid.
The County says that people burning fires for purposes other than the ones approved could face a fine starting at at least $300.
