Two people have been charged in a police chase incident that took place in April, where shots with a police officer were exchanged.
Tristan Pinder from Elk Point, AB and Verena Petruka from Melville, SK have been charged with Possession of Stolen Property over $5,000, Flight from Police, Dangerous Operation of a Vehicle, Theft under $5,000.
Petruka has also been charged with Discharge Firearm with Intent and Assault on Police with a Weapon, while Pinder has an additional charge of Breach of Recognizance.
Both will appear in Provincial Court in North Battleford, Petruka on May 7 and Pinder on May 17.
