Government of Saskatchewan funds three Lloydminster Community-Based Organizations

The government of Saskatchewan has given $554,000 in funding to three Lloydminster Community-Based Organizations.

The province has given $315,000 to the Lloydminster Action Coalition Society, $128,000 to the Focus Association for Persons with Disabilities, and $111,000 the Bea Fisher Centre, as part of a budget commitment to support CBOs.

“We are proud to help three organizations that are working to improve the quality of life of Saskatchewan citizens,” Colleen Young, Lloydminster MLA said.  “These partnerships are critical as we work together to keep Saskatchewan strong.  Our government appreciates the hard work and dedication of CBOs across the province, and looks forward to continuing these partnerships and making a real, lasting difference in the lives of Lloydminster families.”

The 2015-2016 Saskatchewan budget has allocated $2.3 million for more than 200 CBOs across the province.
