Man charged with threatening to shoot a North Battleford high school

Battlefords RCMP are investigating threats of a school shooting.

On Wednesday, April 15, the RCMP received a report of threats made on Facebook of a shooting at John Paul II High School in North Battleford. The police investigated, and charged an 18-year-old Little Pine First Nation man with two counts of uttering threats.

The RCMP say they continue to work with school administrators to ensure the safety of students and staff.
