Two men, two teens arrested in Bonnyville for break-and-enter, theft

Two men and two teenagers have been arrested in Bonnyville for a string of thefts.

On the morning of Tuesday, April 14, the RCMP received a report of a break and enter to Spring Beach Resort. The suspects had fled by the time the police got there, but they got a description of the vehicle.

Early in the mornig of Wednesday, April 15, RCMP got reports of multiple break-ins to Canada Post super-boxes. In total, over 500 mailboxes in Fort Kent and Ardmore had been broken into, and their mail stolen.

Wednesday evening, the RCMP found vehicle connected to the break in at Spring Beach, and pulled it over. Two of the occupants fled the vehicle, and the remaining two were arrested for drug and weapon possession. The RCMP investigated the suspects and found that they were also responsible for theft of mail from the mailboxes.

The other two suspects were later found and arrested. All four face numerous charges for their roles in the break-ins and thefts.
