Just Kruzin Show ‘n Shine car rally proceeds go to MS Society

Just Kruzin is celebrating their tenth annual Show ‘n Shine that includes a car rally where all proceeds go to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Chairman of the Just Kruzin car club Gerry Duhaime says the event is the largest car show between Saskatoon and Edmonton because over 200 vehicles will be attracted and any type of vehicle is open to register from 9am-12pm. Duhaime says Saturday’s Show’n Shine at the Servus Sports Centre isn’t just about nice cars, there will be tons of activities for everyone.

“We have a lot of stuff for kids as well like matchbox races sponsored by Can-Do. Kids can come, pick a car and race it until it wins and they get to keep it.”

Just Kruzin is a community organization that Duhaime says is a reason why they want to give back to the community. The car club had a 68’ Camaro built into a barbeque that they lend out to non-profit organizations.

“The MS Society wasn’t able to continue their car rally because of insurance reasons and so our insurance company stepped up and said we can do it for them or through them so right after the car show we’ve got the MS car rally and all our proceeds go to the MS Society.”

Duhaime said they’re expecting 4,000 in attendance for the Fathers Day weekend.

Some Activities happening at the Show ‘n Shine include a Nascar pitstop sponsored by Quick Lane which will be a tire changing competition, Valve Cover racing which will be supported by the Street Rod Technology Progam at Lakeland College, there will be food and car-related vendors as well.

Show’n Shine is this Saturday at the Servus Sports Centre. For more information go to JustKruzin.com.
