2018-2019 AJHL schedule announced

The schedule for the 2018-2019 AJHL has been announced.

The Alberta Junior Hockey League will kick off theirĀ 55th season on September 14th. The season will include several international and national events including an opportunity to host the 2019Ā National Championship. Opening weekend will involve all 16 teams competing from SeptemberĀ 14th-16th. The Lloydminster Bobcats play two games against the Spruce Grove Saints on opening weekend which includes a home openerĀ on the 15th. On the final weekend of September, the AJHL will have theirĀ 12th annual showcase in Camrose, Alberta.

The regular season will follow exhibition games that start August 28th and include six interleague games versus the Humboldt Broncos, Kindersley Klippers and the Battlefords North Stars. The pre-season includes action in five new communities, Frog Lake being one of them.

The World Junior A Challenge will be returning to Bonnyville, ABĀ for the second time in three years on December 9th-15th showcasing Canadian and international Junior A talent.
