UPDATE: Environment Canada has ended the severe thunderstorm warning for Vermilion River and Wainwright.

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Lloydminster and area as a thunderstorm is moving eastward of Paradise Valley.
Environment Canada says they’re tracking a severe thunderstorm 15 km southeast of Paradise Valley that is capable of producing very strong winds, as well as hail and heavy rain.
A severe thunderstorm warning is in place for the County of Vermilion River and M.D. of Wainwright.
