Four rail cars carrying asphalt have derailed south of Rockhaven, Sask.
On Saturday, a train derailed and when Unity RCMP arrived on scene four rail cars were off the track leaking asphalt.
An excavator was on scene creating a berm to prevent further contamination. No waterways were affected by the spill and no roads were blocked by the derailment.
This is the second train derailment near Rockhaven for July. The first derailment was also carrying asphalt, however, there was no spill reported.
