After weeks of construction, the main access road to downtown Lloydminster is being restored.
The City says that 50th avenue is expected to open back up on August 22nd. The road was down from 44th street to 47th street across from City Hall due to a water main project. All underground work and all mains and services have been completed and successfully tested. Concrete repairs will be completed on Wednesday.
Construction on 46th street between 50th and 51st Avenue is almost complete. The installation of a water main started August 3rd. Asphalt has been removed from the street and a temporary water installation has been completed up to 51st Avenue.
