Two people including a minor, have been arrested after two separate assault incidents in Frog Lake First Nation.
On August 3, Elk Point RCMP responded to shots fired at a home on Frog Lake First Nation. Two suspects allegedly used bear spray and shot several rounds from a firearm at the outside of the residence before taking off in vehicles. RCMP say no one was injured in the incident.
During the investigation, RCMP received a report of a male being stabbed at another residence in Frog Lake First Nation. The victim was a youth who had serious life-threatening injuries. He was flown to Edmonton by STARS and was released a short time later.
Both suspects have been charged with several Criminal Code offences.
