Three people have been arrested after a robbery at a local business in Mannville, where a pickup truck was stolen.
On August 28, Vermilion RCMP received a report of the incident and the following day the Eastern Alberta District Rural Crime Reduction Unit found the pickup truck at a residence in Saddle Lake.
Two people in the vehicle were arrested and a third suspect was arrested a short time later in the residence. A man from Saddle Lake has been charged with one count of robbery, while two other suspects face several charges, including possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
On the same day, the EADRCRU assisted in Vermilion to find and arrest a man wanted on multiple warrants, including uttering threats and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
The man was arrested by police and will appear in Vermilion provincial Court on Monday.
