North Battleford RCMP have arrested two people in connection with a shooting injury in the city.
On Tuesday, police received a call about a woman who was brought to Union Hospital with a gunshot to the leg. They say the injury was serious, but the victim is now in stable condition. A short time later, RCMP found a vehicle that they believe could be connected to the incident. They two suspects in the car fled from police but were arrested after a short vehicle and foot pursuit. A loaded handgun was also allegedly found in the car.
The two suspects remain in police custody as an investigation continues.
