The Lloydminster RCMP says they have arrested a 24-year-old man after a Wednesday night gun incident.
Police responded to a call about a cab driver who allegedly had a gun pulled on him. Police followed a suspect to a home on 41st Street where he had escaped to. Once there, officers were able to convince the man to let them enter and were able to arrest him without further incident. RCMP also allegedly recovered a handgun at the home.
The suspect is facing several charges, including assault with a weapon, fraud and evading arrest among others. He has appeared before a Justice of the Peace and will face trial September 17th.
