City Council Votes To Apply For Amphiteatre Funding

Lloydminster City Council is hoping to rehabilitate the Bud Miller amphitheatre. On Monday, council voted unanimously to apply for grant support from the ‘Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program’, which celebrates the country’s 150th anniversary by investing in community projects. The total cost of the amphitheatre work is estimated at around $752,500, and if the application is successful, $376,250 will come from the grant, with matching funds from the City.
