If you ever thought about becoming an RCMP officer, there is an information session happening in Lloydminster May 15th at Lakeland College. The RCMP are hiring for a number of opportunities across the country. During the presentation, a recruiting officer will talk about what goes with a policing career with the RCMP, outline the process step-by-step, and answer any questions people may have. There will also be an exam May 29th. To apply, you must be: a Canadian citizen, 19 years or older; of good character; proficient in English or French; and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. You must also be willing to relocate anywhere in Canada, have a valid Driver’s Licence, meet medical/psychological/vision standards and be physically fit.
