RCMP looking for man involved in a hit and run on Highway 16

Maidstone RCMP is looking for help in finding a man who was involved in a hit and run on Highway 16 at Lashburn.

On September 17, an eastbound semi was reportedly sideswiped by a black Ford F350 dually pickup truck. The Ford truck had a metal slip tank in the back with Alberta licence plates.

Police say the pickup truck came onto the highway from Lashburn and turned east hitting the semi-trailer. The driver of the Ford truck did stop and get out of his truck before fleeing the scene eastbound.

He is described as a 25-year-old white man with brown hair, about 6’0 tall with a slim build. He was wearing a dark coloured bunny hug and jeans.

RCMP say they are looking for the suspect driver who would have extensive damage to the passenger side of his Ford truck. Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
