Cannabis on campus is banned at Lakeland College

No one will be smelling marijuana anytime soon at Lakeland College. The post-secondary has made the announcement that no one is allowed to use, have, grow or sell cannabis on campus for recreational purposes.

The facilities Tobacco and Cannabis Policy prohibit possession or use of any non-medicinal cannabis products on Lakeland property. This includes Lakeland residences and all owned, rented or leased property, including vehicles.

There have been no designated spots created for the use of cannabis. There are designated spots for smoking and vaping tobacco outside the Lakeland property, which is marked by signs.
