Lloydminster hits a record high temperature

Legalization day in the Border City saw a high, but maybe not the one you’d expect. The temperature at the Lloydminster airport reached 21.2 degrees on Wednesday, unofficially beating the previous October 17 record of 16.8 degrees set in 1986.

According to Environment Canada, the average high for October 17 is 9.5 degrees. Temperatures should be cooler for the rest of the week. Forecast highs for the next six days are between 10 to 15 degrees.
