Elk Point RCMP ask for publics help involving fuel theft

Elk Point police are asking for residents help relating to theft of fuel. On November 19, RCMP says they received a complaint of a break and enter and theft from a sand and gravel pit site east of Elk Point near Highway 646 and Range Road 62.

The theft allegedly happened between November 17-19. Employees arrived at the work site finding locks broken and signs of trailers searched.  Police report some of the items stolen include air compressor hoses, an electric heater, and 2000 litres of fuel. The approximate value of damages and stolen property is $8400.
