Elk Point RCMP looking for multiple hit and run suspects

Multiple people were involved in a truck theft last week that led to a hit run. Elk Point RCMP is asking the public assistance to help track down the suspects.

Police say the black Ford F-150 was stolen from the CRJ Trucking parking lot in Elk Point on November 18. The license plate on the vehicle is BPP4115. The same vehicle was involved in a hit and run in Bonnyville the next day where police say the truck purposefully rammed into a car and took off. Police says no one was injured in the collision.

Video footage from CRJ show potentially 3 to 4 people involved in the theft, RCMP says the truck was seen towed out of the lot with tow straps.

Anyone with information on the incident can call Elk Point RCMP at 780-724-3964 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
