ATCO Electric is warning Kitscoty residents that there will be an emergency power outage in the town.
The electric company will need to shut down the lines as they have frozen over. Both the town and the surrounding rural areas will be affected.
Crews are working quickly and safely to clean it up and are working towards having the power back on within the hour.
