A man is dead after a plane crash in Bonnyville.
In the evening of Sunday, July 26, the RCMP received a signal from a plane’s emergency beacon in a rural area. Partnering with an army search and rescue team, the RCMP found the plane later that night, with a dead pilot inside.
The RCMP say that the Transportation Safety Board of Canada is investigating the cause of the accident.
